DRY LUBRICANT: BRUGAL® LUB Serie

Dry Lubricant and temporary protector.

Characteristics

- Cr free product.
- Applicable by roll-coater or chem-coater.

- Temporary corrosion resistance.
- Excellent dry lubricity to improve post-forming processes: dynamic friction coefficient lower than 0.10.
- High weldability with low fume and odour generation.
- Compatible with most commercially available adhesives

Pretreatment-Primer for Prepainted CRS & HRS Steel: BRUGAL® PRETREAT

Film Forming Non Rinse Pretreatmenst specially designed for Prepainted Cold & Hot Rolled Steel.

Characteristics
- Free of solvents. Water borne product.
- Free of Volatil Organic Compounds (VOCs)
- It contains resins. Organic chemistry.
- Hexavalent Chromium (BRUGAL^®PRIME 600 Serie), Trivalent Chromium (BRUGAL^®PRIME 300 Serie) and Cr free (BRUGAL^®PRIME 000 Serie) versions are available.
- Applicable by roll or chem-coater, but also by squeezing rolls.
Performances
- Excellent adhesion with the common coil coating paints: polyester, epoxy, epoxy-polyester, PVDF,…
- Good corrosion resistance at very low film weight (0,5 µ)
- Improves protection to corrosion at cut edges.
- Excellent adhesion to Poliurethane foams, glues and adhesives for laminates.
Technical and economical advantages for Coil Coaters
- When coil coaters receive CRS or HRS coils already coated with BRUGAL^® PRIME:
  - Top Quality Prepainted Steel will be processed, even if these coils have been shipped overseas (top corrosion protection).
    Siginificant savings, in terms of chemicals, energy, water, waste and quality control will be raised, because the degreasing, pretreatment and, even the Primer section, are not required.
  - Obtendrá importantes ahorros en productos químicos, energía, agua, desechos y control de calidad, porque no requerirá emplear las etapas de desengrase, pre-tratamiento e incluso la sección Primer en su línea de pintado.
- When Coil Coaters apply BRUGAL^® PRIME by Roll Coater at the Pretreatment section of their Coil Coating Line (CCL), they will get the following advantages:

    Product will adapt to all coil coat line configurations.
  - Top Quality Prepainted Steel. Because BRUGAL^®PRIME is an acrylic product, it offers higher performances, in terms of corrosion protection and adhesion, than usual inorganic pre-treatments used in the market.
Technical and economical advantages for Coil Coaters which have a single pass painting line
- When coil coaters with a Single Pass Painting Line receive CR or HR coils already coated with BRUGAL® PRIME, they will be able to produce Top Quality Prepainted Steel in only one pass because Primer is not required.
